Treemansion - Creative Exercise 35
Introduction
Treehouses were probably one of the most ingenious inventions
in the history of mankind, but why is it that these magnificent creations are
only built for little beings? Children do not even have the means to supply any
of the products it takes to construct these treehouses, also, why do they need
privacy with a plethora of fun amenities? Adults work our bodies to the bone
(well, most of us adults), so shouldn’t we deserve a treehouse in a tree up in
the sky secluded from everyone, including the children? Children can have
whatever they want when they have the means to supply/purchase all of it! They
could have the house on the ground if they please!
My next creative exercise is “Treemansion” out the book, “CREATIVE
BOOT CAMP-GENERATE IDEAS IN GREATER QUANTITY & QUALITY IN 30 DAYS”, written
by Stefan Mumaw.
“Treemansion” explains that we are to design, plot, and
scheme our ultimate dream Treemansion. We have free reign so, the Treemansion
can look however we want it to look, and it can have anything that we desire. Money
is not a question. According to the exercise, “we have been issued an unlimited
grant from The Federal TreeHouse Administration’s hedge fund”… It also states
that our kid’s college savings plan is being used as collateral! The only
restriction is that it has to be in a tree! Now it’s time to design the
greatest Treemansion of our dreams.
Treemansion:
Wrap-around porch screened-in
Air conditioning
Multiple stories
Secured porch on the top story
Recording studio
Stairs that go up and down as we walk in or out to keep
people from coming up
Water catcher/purifier that catches natural rain
Treehouse netting that you can walk out onto or lie on
around a certain portion of the house
Solar panels to light the house and provide electricity
A pool in the air
A little elevator
Tinted windows
A movie room
Game room
Cozy warm/bright colors for the interior
Art hung up everywhere on the walls
A puzzle table in the game room
Conclusion
Who wouldn't want the dream Treemansion of their life,
especially with an endless amount of funds? Having a treehouse with endless
funds would take the burden off of many adults. We could relax and free our
minds in a safe space that is healing and amongst some of nature's greatest
healing properties. This would help adults reconnect with their inner-child
relieving some of the stress that we endure on a day to day basis. This would
be a grand idea.
